Humber Bridge Toll Prices

Check the Humber Bridge toll prices for all vehicle types. Toll charges vary based on vehicle class and whether you have a toll account, with discounts available for registered users. You’ll also find details on concessions, payment windows and how costs are calculated.

Toll Prices

The Humber Bridge is a toll bridge, which means that vehicles need to pay to cross in both directions – though motorcycles and approved concessions go free.

Toll prices depend on the type of vehicle you’re driving, so be sure to check your vehicle classification below before you travel. There is also a discount for those with an account.

Toll Prices (as of Saturday 31st January 2026):

Vehicle Type Toll (without an account) Toll (with an account)
Motorbikes and Trikes Free Free
2 axle vehicles under 3.5 tonnes: cars, small vans and caravans £2.00 £1.50
2 axle vehicles between 3.5 -7 tonnes, 9-16 passenger mini bus, bus/coaches, agricultural vehicles £5.00 £4.00
3 axles or more, over 7.5 tonnes £15.00 £12.00
Paying Your Toll

You can pay your toll:

Payment Window

If you cross the Humber Bridge and you don’t have a Humber Bridge Toll account – or if you have an account but you don’t have enough credit on it – you have until midnight on the day after you crossed to pay.

At midnight, an Unpaid Toll Notification will be triggered and an admin fee of £25 will be added to the toll that’s owed.

Why can’t I see my crossings?

If you’re paying after you cross, the system will not list your crossing after you enter your vehicle registration number – which is quite a big change from the previous system.

All you need to do is buy enough Guest Crossings to cover the trips you’ve made or about to make. As long as you buy them before midnight the day after crossing, our system will match your crossings.

Abnormal Loads

Vehicles carrying an abnormal load, must pay an additional charge. Visit our Abnormal Loads Page to find out more.

Disabled Mobility Exemption

We provide free Humber Bridge crossings to people who are disabled (provided that they open a Humber Bridge Toll Account and apply for their concession) and are in receipt of certain benefits.

Castle Hill Concessions

Patients who live on the south bank and travel to Castle Hill Hospital for ongoing oncology treatment may be able to receive free crossings.

The scheme is administered by the team at the Queen’s Centre, who can assist with any queries.
